The Riverside Walk begins at the Temple of Sinawava, the last stop on the Zion shuttle. It’s a 2.2 mile round trip paved trail with elevation change of just 57 feet that is suitable for everyone.

The Valley of Fire state park features dramatic and unique red sandstone formations created millions of years ago that contrast with gray and tan limestone. The contrasting color variations of the landscape are the highlight of the park and give the impression that it’s on fire, thereby giving the park it’s name.
